Danny’s Scam Review Part II
My original post on Danny’s Scam Review.com is certainly one the most popular on this blog. Since the danny ads started appearing all over Google people have been coming to this site to do some research on his product. This post is a follow up to my original one.
Since the orginal post on Danny Scam Review, a lot of information has been coming my way either through emails or comments posted under the original post. Some of the comments have come from people thanking me for saving them from wasting $49 on his products. I found one comment to be particularly interesting in that it provided me with some information on “Danny”.
Here is a comment from someone named Ben:
Hi,
Just to let you know that “Danny” is not the person you singled out above but a UK marketer.
He has tried to hide his info because he will get into a lot of trouble with the Advertising Standards Agency in the UK.
I can’t tell you anymore at the moment as I am working on uncovering him for a UK magazine but as soon as the article goes out I will come back and leave more info.
Basically, if you get his email newsletters, look carefully at the source code and you will find “Danny”.
Keep up the good work!
So has Ben been successful in revealing more information regarding this Danny guy? Well after doing another Google search on Danny’s Scam Review I came across Ben’s website. Here is what Ben recently uncovered regarding Danny:
He even says about his “No 1 BEST PRODUCT” (ultimatewealthpackage.com):
“The purchase price is a little high at $299 dollars, but look out for the occasional special offer. I bought the package for $299 and the very next day it was being sold for only $99! I didn’t mind because I made it all back anyway! A full refund is also offered if you are not happy with the product which is extremely reassuring”
The truth is that the Ultimate Wealth Package was first launched on or around the 4th March 2006. Back then it was only $46, not the $299 that Danny claims.
In fact, it has never been priced at more than $50.Danny’s Scam Review website is a complete con. He has taken probably the worst advice from the Rich Jerk eBook and tried to build a business around it.
I signed up for his “newsletter” to find out what his opinion of the top 3 scams was. He said that they were:“Scam #1 - High Yield Investment Programs
Scam #2 - Envelope Stuffing
Scam #3 - Free Magazine Advertising”
And he’s probably right. The problem is that Danny says:
“Yesterday I made $493.98 with Ultimate Wealth Package…”However, I signed up for his email newsletter with two different email addresses, a week apart and he said he made the same amount yesterday in both emails.
Danny’s Scam Review is a site which lies.
Whoever is behind it has built it anonymously because they are not willing to admit who they are.
Another comment discussed the ranking of Dannys-Scam-Review.com. Dan from scriptcalendar.com posted this comment:
Not considering that the website is a scam, the traffic it generates is staggering. Go to Alexa and see the traffic he’s getting. I don’t care what he recommending, I just want to know how he got that much traffic starting Nov 26 2006. It can’t all be adwords can it? That would cost a fortune.
So where does his website rank on the World Wide Web? Yahoo is ranked number 1. In other words it’s the most popular website in the world. Where does Danny’s Scam Review get ranked? His current rank at the time of this post according to Alexa.com is 27,725. It may seem like nothing compared to Yahoo, Amazon, and Ebay which rank at the top of alexa’s ranking but its still high on the list. To get an idea what his rank means, Alexa.com only provides real data for websites that rank in the top 100,000. Danny scam review ranks in the top 50,000. What’s surprising about these numbers is that his website doesn’t provide real content. He has about two pages on his site and these pages are static. That means all his traffic comes from Google advertising.
According to Trafficestimate.com, Dannys Scam Review gets about 274,500 hits a month. That comes out to approximately 9,150 hits a day. Nine thousand people are hitting his site a day and only about 1% of the 9000 are actually researching his product (this percentage is based on the number of search queries involving Dannys scam review.com that bring people to this site).
Advertising the way he does costs a fortune but it seems he makes up for it in affiliate commissions by promoting the products on his site.

Glad to find your site thru “info.com” It confirms my doubts.
Doing a domain-name search thru GoDaddy.com site-registrar search utility.
Found 3 entries for “dannys-scam-review.com” and “dannyswebsites” (”free website offer”…?!?) hosted by “midphases.com” (Chicago)
- a”Domaine by Proxy” private registration;
- “the123design.com” located in UK
- “dot5hosting.com”, located in the US
Idem with “youraffiliatesite.com” and “youraffiliatesupport”.
I was scammed despite my best jugement - 26-29Jan’07- Now, I’m presing “midphase.com” since 29 Jan’07 for a full refund as per their term of service.
Will submit again when and how I got my money back

Thanks for the comment. Someone actually posted more information about Danny in a comment on the first post of this topic. I plan to add this information to the post above.
You mentioned that you were scammed. It would be great if you could provide more information regarding what happened. I would love to have a post regarding people experiences.

MidPhase’s refund received 30Jan’07, no glitch, no fuss.
What all these Mike-Warren-like+all “free website” offers do not say is:
- mini-website itself may be “free”, but one has to do with the provided content and works;
- website hosting provided by MidPhase is payable up-front: 166,80$us/year for the “pro”package”+stats utility;
- “getting started guide” provided by “youraffiliatesite.com” is confusing, and the provided links to Clickbank and Yahoo have “weird” URLs. Idem with all the other traffic enhancer”links”.Were they the “real” sites or a cleaver fakes ?
- when all counted, found that the inception costs just to be on-line mounted up quite easily to $500. I quit just-in-time, it was pointless to go any further.
Now I have to do with “danny”’s relentless spams …I’ll soon complain to it’s “domain-name” registrars if I have to.
Site-Build-it”. found afterward, offer a complete CTPM package + pre and after-care support for $299us/yr, content is customer’s creation, with a 1yr “test-drive” satisfaction warranty or 100% refund.
Guess what I will try next, soon … (:-)
Question at large: is there a way to scam a scammer out of “hiding” and scam it into “confessing” it’s “web-sins” … ?!?

Hello,
About http://dannys-scam-review.com/. It is very funny that this comment comes up about this site. Been to plenty of sites like this and purchased a few of the programs also. Many are useless junk but they all contain some bits of good info, some very few do work. Problem is putting the pieces of good info all together in all these programs in to one guide, which no one does and not to mention the money it would cost to do so as well.
Yes! it is very funny that “Mr. Danny” created his web site in Nov, 2007 and within two months or so has a high amount of back links, very high rating (in 23,000) or so as of Feb, 7, 2007. For one static page that is remarkable but I think I have an idea of how Mr. Danny is able to do so and also get that kind of traffic to his site. However, Google is not fooled and he has no PR ranking yet or perhaps he is just getting indexed by them. Who knows??
ANOTHER LIE CAUGHT TODAY:
I have signed up for danny’s newsletter via four email account. One of my email received today had a product that he was promoting. Danny “Claimed” that he did not make any commissions from the sale of the product with a link. When I clicked on the link and followed it, it did appear that he did not use any commission ID info. However upon doing a link analyzer he used a hidden code to hide his commission ID and to sent me to the site. Talk about a flat out lie. Not NICE at all Mr. Danny, fooling people who do not know better!!!
Folks, A few question here.. if a site is available that would tell you the facts about these programs? What kind of info would you search for? What are tell tell signs that a site is a scam? Is there a site like this available online that provides honest info? What category or clues will help you judge if a site is a scam or if the site is providing honest info??? What would you recommend that I should look out for???
Thanks for your advise and info. Please email the info or post it here. Greatly appreciate your tips and help.

You folks are falling for one of the biggest scams on the net, “Danny” is a email harvester, you go there sign up for his Bull**** service, he in return sells your email address to various ad agencies etc. the same goes for these late night tv commercials 123.com and the likes. They also harvest email addreses, why do you think its mandatory for you to “sign up” for this free service that does nothing more than contribute to filling your inbox with spam.

Thanks for the comment rick. No one should ever use their real email address for these scams. I created one based on a name of a scamming website.

You can quite easily unsubscribe from “Danny’s” newsletter by simply clicking on the “To unsubscribe or change subscriber options visit:” link at the bottom of each email.
This will unsubscribe you because “Danny” uses Aweber who are a legitimate company.
I’m not sticking up for “Danny” because I think he is a lying, deceiving S.O.B. but I must point out that you can quite easily unsubscribe successfully.
I am not going to unsubscribe simply because I want to see what other rubbish he mails out to his list.
The vast majority of his claims are complete and utter rubbish - DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING HE SAYS

Our topic of this blog, “Danny” is not alone! I found a duplicate site, word for word exactly the same, but the name changed to “Mike!” You can see this at www.scamreviews.net. Enjoy laughing!

Wow, I’m so glad I did alot more research into all of these so-called get rich scemes. I’ve never believed in any of them but I have tried out a few. Most recently, I finally gave into trying out some of the paid survey “scams” and I haven’t earned a single penny yet. Mostly, you just earn points that will take forever to accumulate into any dollar amount or they con you into doing “surveys” and getting paid but they’re not even surveys, simply links to buy into a product that you don’t even want.
I fell for one of the websites that pretend to expose other scams when they are really one in themselves. I paid 30 bucks for what was recomended to me as being the #1 ranked, top guranteed paid survey website. It was just a bunch of links to survey websites that don’t even pay and are all free to sighn up to. The website is already down!
So, then I stumbled upon Warren’s Ultimate Wealth Package and was so close to buying into it. I chose to research it first which eventually lead me here. You really can’t believe anything on the internet and that’s the truth. Even these websites that are reviewing other money making scams are really just deceptions to get you to buy into the scam that they invested into so that they can make money for themselves.
It’s hillarious, all of these get rich programs are scams in one way or another even if you do eventually generate money with them. They all say the same thing when asked “Why would you give out this valuble information?” and they all say “Because I feel that I can’t keep this information a secret and I want other people to know how to get rich to”. When really they just want you to make them more rich by investing into their scam. Still I do see some real money making potential in home based online businesses. I’m working on something right now infact.
I think the real key is give it to people straight and honest. All these websites do is feed you lies and make it sound like you really have to put little to no effort into any of these money generating scams and you just sit back and watch the money come rolling in lol. I’ve seen paid advertisements for a million of these. Most deal with real estate, buying seized forclosed properties and re-selling them for 10x what you baught them for. I know alot of people can get rich this way but they just make it sound like theirs no effort at all on your part.
I’m so glad I found this website. Thanks for all the info. I just sighned up to Danny’s newsletter last night. It’s funny, how all of these websites review all of these scams but they shove one particular one or affiliated ones down your throat. It’s obvious what they’re trying to do here.

Hi Bobby and welcome to this site. I’m happy I was able to help.
Its interesting about what you wrote above with regards to the wealthy people wanting to share their secret with everyone. The bottom line is, no one would ever share their secret with the entire world UNLESS there is no more money for them to make through their secret or they never had a secret in the first place and they just wanted to make money of selling some bogus product.
I am thinking about writing a post on this. Think about it. Mr. Warren decides to share his secret with a friend who needs money. Then another friend and then relative or someone. This I can understand. It makes sense. But then he decides he wants to share his secret with the entire world. Why would anyone do that? How much has he made with through his secret? 2 million? 3 Million? Why would he stop when he could make 5 million the next year? People dont generally share their secret with the entire world when they start making good money. No one does.
The only explaination that works is that he figured he could make even more money “sharing” his secret with the rest of the world. This only happens when his secret isnt really making any more money.
I hear about it all the time. People will almost always share their secret once it becomes useless to them.

Hi!
I’m working on a blog post for my friends who are making STUPID computer mistakes and, for example, getting hacked on MySpace. I’m including tips such as cleanups and downloading free firewalls. The post has gotten quite long!
One of the tips is to be VERY wary of Google Sponsored Ads - the ones at the top of GMails. It’s amazing how many of them are scams.
I wrote to Google to point out how many of these I debunked BY USING GOOGLE. Since they’re charging for these ads, they weren’t interested in my commentary.
My suggestion to my friends is to Google any ad before they sign up or give any money. I’ve looked up suggestions for software, and found that the site that says how wonderful they are is owned by the same person who makes the software.
I’m not even a computer nerd (though I wish I were), just someone with common sense. There are too many people without a modicum of common sense, and they are the ones who will be ripped off.
Dannys was on top of my GMail tonight. For the Dannys Scam Review, your page is second; the only place Dannys (sans apostrophe) appears is in the… sponsored ads.
There’s a BRILLIANT comment on the first hit, by RossRubin.com:
“Anyway, the noteworthy part is when “Danny” writes, “I was scammed by 37 different ‘get rich quick schemes’ and I lost over $4800 in 3 months.”
Right, that’s just the type of savvy individual from which I’m eager to take advice.”

I don’t know if this has anything to do with anything, but the VP and a part owner of midphase.com is a person by the name of Dan.
Midphase is the worst host I ever had and that’s saying something.

thanks for commenting. There are plenty of negative reviews for midphase on webhostingjury.com. They also have a new name An Hosting but its still the same company.

I signed up with ANhosting because Wordpress listed them as a “preferred host.” I’m not going to get into a rant, but all of the reviews on webhostingjury.com are true and then some.
I just switched to hostican.com and they are the best! In 14 minutes they had all my files, databases and email accounts transformed for me. It only took 11 hours for my domain to be transfered. There 24/7 phone support is great. I called 6 times and the longest I was on hold was 5 seconds. Realmetrics.com rates them #1. OK, I’ll stop before this sounds like spam (I have nothing to do with this company), but I just never had a host that I could recomend.
PS
They have unmetered bandwidth, if you use this code you can get $50 off: 50OFF-12, plus they will buy out your old hosting contract for a other $40 off.
