Adding insult to injury, they also sell your email address. I generally use unique addresses when I visit sites, so I know when they pass the details on.

The spam I received today is going to the igothere isp for consideration in enforcing their their anti-spam policies…

Hi, I got Berman’s free book,etc. I filled out part of website query, then decided that I didn’t want it. It came anyway, with the 10cd package. I called after reading the worthless book and told them I was not interested. They tried to get me to pay shipping(forget how much) but I told them that I did not want this and never ordered, it etc. The “Manager” then offered me the program for $79. when I still refused, and I told them I felt ripped off about the retyurn vcharge, they told me to keep it, and there would be no charges. This was over 6 months ago and I am still checking my credit card bill.
